THERE ARE MANY LAVISH PALACES IN ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND BEST-PRESERVED OLD TOWN CENTRES ON THE ADRIATIC COAST. ONE OF THESE PALACES, GOTHIC IN STYLE, BELONGED TO THE DIVIĆ FAMILY. THIS PALACE USED TO BE THE CENTRE OF ALL THE CULTURAL LIFE OF THE CITY. THE FORMER SALON WHERE MUSICAL EVENINGS USED TO BE HELD HAS BEEN TURNED TO THE MOST ATTRACTIVE HOTEL ROOM WITH A KING-SIZE CANOPY BED ABOVE WHICH IS A BEAUTIFULLY PAINTED CEILING FRESCO THAT HAS BEEN RESTORED.

The entrance to the hotel is a Gothic gate from the 15th century. The restored streetlamp has been placed on the corner of the building, because Šibenik was among the first cities in Europe with electric lighting. Due to this blend of history and modernity in its design, this small hotel was declared the best Croatian small hotel in 2018. This blend recurs in all elements of the interior design, so the rooms, along with modern furniture, show off a bit of Baroque-style brilliance.

The hotel restaurant with predominantly Mediterranean dishes and a carefully selected wine list has already become one of the city’s most prestigious gourmet havens. The outdoor terrace of the restaurant also has a lounge area, while the nicest catering segment of the hotel is a small cafe decorated like a library.

TECHNICAL INSPECTION

With its high standard, it competes with similar hotels in the Mediterranean. In the restaurant part, we experienced excellent service in all segments and enjoyed well-balanced dishes and an equally good wine list. Spacious rooms give the ultimate feeling of comfort and airiness, and combined with high quality service in general, they ensure pleasure, enjoyment and relaxation.

HOW TO OBTAIN
THE EXQUISITE CERTIFICATE

THE EXQUISITE CERTIFICATE IS A MARK OF DISTINCTION, RECOGNIZING THE SUPERIOR QUALITY AND STANDARDS OF YOUR HOTEL OR RESTAURANT.

The Exquisite Certificate is awarded after three inspection processes conducted by a panel of distinguished experts in the gastronomy and hospitality sector.

The first process involves thorough hygiene control and management within the facility, followed by detailed supervision in the food processing department.

The second process of control focuses on top-level safety both inside and outside the facility itself. It includes a thorough inspection of hygiene conditions within the facility, as well as control of the processes of receiving, storing, and processing food.

The third process refers to food preparation, serving, and the organoleptic characteristics of the food, as well as the final procedure of evaluating the overall hospitality service.

A prerequisite for conducting these three inspection processes includes ensuring top-level safety both inside and around the facility.
