THE HOTEL IS SITUATED IN THE BAROQUE BUILDING BUILT BY THE NOBLE VUSIO (VUŽIĆ) FAMILY AS A TYPE OF A CASTLE-LIKE FORTRESS. THIS BUILDING, ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS IN BOL, WAS TURNED INTO A HOTEL A LONG TIME AGO.

Kaštil dominates the port as it is located on the waterfront, just a step away from the sea. The attractive exterior of the castle is matched by the elegant interior which combines modern design with the elements of the past, a result of numerous renovations and additions.

The tavern on the ground floor, the hotel restaurant on the first floor, and all the custom-designed rooms overlook the sea. The entire port of Bol stretches under the windows of the hotel and the view reaches all the way to the island of Hvar.

Peaceful atmosphere in the hotel is in complete contrast to the summer tourist bustle around it. This is primarily due to the management and staff of the hotel, who managed to turn this castle into the most important hotel address in Bol.

TECHNICAL INSPECTION

The main feature of this oldest hotel in Bol is the extremely helpful and professional staff who have obviously been here for years and know very well how to satisfy all the guests’ requests. The standard operating procedures of the hotel staff are at a high level; the staff is well-coordinated from the reception of the guest until their departure. The harmony between the look of the stone castle and fine service is just riveting. Apart from the look of the building itself and its half-century-old hotel function, the hotel’s biggest assets are the restaurant terrace on the first floor (with very good cuisine, ambiance and the view), and the popular tavern on the ground floor located on the Bol promenade.

THE EXQUISITE CERTIFICATE

THE EXQUISITE CERTIFICATE IS A MARK OF DISTINCTION, RECOGNIZING THE SUPERIOR QUALITY AND STANDARDS OF YOUR HOTEL OR RESTAURANT.

The Exquisite Certificate is awarded after three inspection processes conducted by a panel of distinguished experts in the gastronomy and hospitality sector.

The first process involves thorough hygiene control and management within the facility, followed by detailed supervision in the food processing department.

The second process of control focuses on top-level safety both inside and outside the facility itself. It includes a thorough inspection of hygiene conditions within the facility, as well as control of the processes of receiving, storing, and processing food.

The third process refers to food preparation, serving, and the organoleptic characteristics of the food, as well as the final procedure of evaluating the overall hospitality service.

A prerequisite for conducting these three inspection processes includes ensuring top-level safety both inside and around the facility.
